One of our Mustangs players, Ben Lucas, was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer called Ewings Sarcoma. He and his family have begun on a difficult journey of chemo and surgery. Ben is currently in Denver Children’s Hospital and is expected to split time between the hospital and home for the next year or so.
If you would like to send Ben funny and uplifting cards you can mail them to:
13123 East 16th Ave
Aurora, CO 80045
The Mustangs organization will be looking for ways to help support the Lucas’s so watch for additional posts with opportunities to help. There is a bank account set up at American National Bank. Additionally, there is a GoFundMe account and you can go here if you want to look at that: http://www.gofundme.com/h6dtc4

Merry Christmas Mustangs Parents!
I’m hoping I have a good email list….if anyone is missing, please let me know.
The Mustangs Banquet is scheduled for Feb 28 at the Holiday Inn. Between now and then, it is most important that we start gathering silent/live auction items. The banquet is our main fundraiser for the boys and it is so important to the success of the upcoming year.
We really need each player to bring a couple silent auction items, but really the more the better. In addition, you could also go in together and get something larger that could be used as a live auction. If you know anyone who could build something, have a time share to offer, have sports/concert tickets, that would be great. Pauline Stevens has agreed to collect the auction items so contact her and make arrangements to get them to her. PLStevens@hollandhart.com Thanks Pauline!!
We also need to start some kind of raffle now that would be announced the night of the banquet. Any ideas?
Christmas is foremost in our minds right now, but while you are out shopping, maybe get some ideas for the Mustangs Banquet.
Again, Merry Christmas and thanks so much!!
